ABOUT RE SUSPENSION

In 2002, Jason Enders was working as a full-time mechanic for a NASCAR Cup team, when he began noticing a true need for a company that could offer advanced suspension technology to racers across the country, regardless of the series of competition. From talking with friends who were competing at local small tracks across the Southeast, Jason heard their concern regarding the lack of support and guidance when it came to shocks and springs. Jason and his father, Butch began toying with the idea of a suspension-focused service center. Calling on long-time friend, Kurt Roehrig of Roehrig Engineering, Jason began putting together a plan for what would become RE Suspension.

Bringing in Kurt's resources, Butch's valuable experience and Jason's vision and knowledge, RE Suspension opened its doors in 2003 with the sole intention of offering support to racers across the country, from dirt racing, to asphalt to drag racing, to road racing.

15 years later, RE Suspension has become an industry leader. Headquartered in a 10,000 square foot building located in the heart of motorsports country, Mooresville NC, RE Suspension sets the standard with our advanced testing equipment – including 2 EMA dynos, an advanced spring rater, a 10 HP dyno, and a 5 HP dyno. RE Suspension has innovative products, full inventory from top vendors and knowledgeable, talented technicians. Combined, our technicians have over 60+ years of suspension experience and most of our team has worked together for more than ten years.

RE Suspension understands the value of relationships, not only with our customers, but with our vendors and manufacturers, allowing RES to offer the latest in technology and testing to our racers. A mobile service center allows technicians to be hands-on at tracks across the US - dirt, asphalt, drag racing, and road racing.

As RE Suspension continues to grow, we look to the future of motorsports as our in-house engineering department uses the latest in 3D printing and sophisticated 3D modeling software to design and create our own line of suspension parts and tools.

    Jason Enders

As a kid, Jason spent much of his time at the race track with his father, Butch; first in the world of road racing, then on the various tracks on the NASCAR circuit. After college, Jason continued his racing career as a mechanic and tire changer for many of NASCAR's top Cup teams. With a young family, Jason decided to look for something that would allow him to spend more time at home, and less on the road. With an idea forming, Jason called upon longtime friend, Kurt Roehrig, about starting a suspension service company based out of Mooresville . . . and the leap to successful business owner was made. Putting together a team of top shock technicians, Jason now focuses his attention on the creation and design of suspension parts and tools. In his free time, he enjoys being on the lake, on the range and with his family.

  • Butch Enders

    Butch Enders

Butch got his start at the small tracks of Ohio, racing with his father and uncles. In the late 70's, Butch took an interest in road racing, and soon became an award winning crew chief in IMSA & SCCA. Ten years later, Butch changed course and moved to NC to lead a new NASCAR Cup team. Over the course of the next decade, Butch was a successful crew chief for several of the best NASCAR Busch Series teams on the circuit. Looking to come off the road and spend more time at home, Butch joined with son Jason and Kurt Roehrig to start RE Suspension. When not at the shop, Butch can be found in the garden, at the range, or riding around with his German Shepherd, Charlie.
