We offer Various Suspension Services In Addition to Parts & Accessories.

History

In 2002, Jason Enders was working as a full-time mechanic for a NASCAR Cup team, when he began noticing a true need for a company that could offer advanced suspension technology to racers across the country, regardless of the series of competition. From talking with friends who were competing at local small tracks across the Southeast, Jason heard their concern regarding the lack of support and guidance when it came to shocks and springs. Jason and his father, Butch, began toying with the idea of a suspension-focused service center. Calling on long-time friend, Kurt Roehrig of Roehrig Engineering, Jason began putting together a plan for what would become RE Suspension.

Bringing in Kurt's resources, Butch's valuable experience and Jason's vision and knowledge, RE Suspension opened its doors in 2003 with the sole intention of offering support to racers across the country, from dirt racing, to asphalt to drag racing, to road racing.

Since its launch, RE Suspension has become an industry leader. Headquartered in a 10,000 square foot building located in the heart of motorsports country, Mooresville, NC, RE Suspension sets the standard with our advanced testing equipment – including 2 EMA dynos, an advanced spring rater, a 10 HP dyno, and a 5 HP dyno. RE Suspension has innovative products, full inventory from top vendors and knowledgeable, talented technicians.

As RE Suspension continues to grow, we look to the future of motorsports as our in-house engineering department uses the latest in 3D printing and sophisticated 3D modeling software to design and create our own line of suspension parts and tools.

Meet Our Team : JASON ENDERS
Years In Racing: 30
Jason started going to IMSA races with his dad as a kid, attending his first race at two months old. He started working on his father's race team in the NASCAR Busch Grand National Series (now the Xfinity Series) in 1990 and began changing tires in the NASCAR Winston Cup series (now the Monster Energy series) in 1997. He worked for a variety of teams through 2003 founding RE Suspension in 2003 and, since then, has worked on suspensions for NASCAR, INDY, IMSA, RALLY, ARCA, SCCA, NASA, World Challenge, Trans-Am, WoO, Lucas, PCA, Late model, super late model, street stocks, USAC, quarter midgets, NHRA, IHRA and GNCC. Jason has hundreds of great racing memories through the years, and one that sticks out is see Dale Earnhardt Sr finally get the checkers at the Daytona 500. Jason was one of many pit crew members that lines pit road to greet the #3 on his way to victory lane.
Meet Our Team : BUTCH ENDERS
Years In Racing: 55
Butch grew up going to dirt tracks all around Ohio with his father in the 50s, and started racing go-carts and midget cars in 1959. Butch began road racing in the IMSA GTU-GTO series in 1971, and did that for more than 15 years. In the 80s, he raced both the IMSA Kelly American Challenge and an SCCA Trans-Am, and was the TRW Mechanic of the Year in 1987. In 1989-2003, Butch was a crew chief in the NASCAR Busch Grand National Series (now the Xfinity Series). His team finished 2nd in the Busch championship in 1996. In 2003, Butch joined his son Jason at RE Suspension. Butch’s favorite racing memory was the year a blizzard hit Atlanta race weekend in 1993. The team made in through tech day, but the next morning woke to a complete white out. Of course, the South shuts down in the snow and no one had rooms, people were sleeping in the lobby, the hallways, the bar, no one could get out of Atlanta. Race cars were all sitting on pit road with water in the motors (freezing, not good). When the teams finally made it to the track, all the lift gates were covered in ice and the haulers needed to make it up the track banking to get out. Lots of haulers sliding around. Butch’s team hauler ended up sliding into a race car still sitting on pit road. Demolished the car and it never even made a lap! What a crazy weekend!
Meet Our Team : CARRIE ENDERS
Years In Racing: 25
Carrie went to her first Daytona International Speedway for Speedweeks when she was six weeks old. She grew up around various race tracks with her dad and older brother, and in the early 90s, she started timing/scoring her dad’s Busch Series race teams. In her senior year of college, Carrie also started PR/Marketing for a NASCAR Busch series team. By 2005, she decided to join her family at RE Suspension to help with the marketing, office and bookkeeping. Although she doesn’t have the engineering and technical experience as her dad and brother, she knows racing and loves the motorsports community. Carrie’s favorite memories of racing, especially in the Busch Series, was the huge sense of family you could find in the garage area. Everyone was friends, helped each other out, took care of one another. It was an amazing world to grow up in!
Meet Our Team : DONNY MARKHAM
Years In Racing: 27
Donny has worked with local teams around North Carolina since he was a teenager. He has experience with late model stock cars (and super late models), street stocks, NASCAR Busch Series, ARCA series and the ProCup series teams. Donny’s passion to continue a career in racing brought him to RE suspension in 2007. Donny remembers being just a young kid at Orange County Speedway, long before kids were even allowed in the pits, and sneaking in with a “borrowed” pit pass. As he made his way from the bathrooms, he literally ran right into his childhood racing idol, Richard Petty. Donny still has the “borrowed” pit pass that The King signed for him that day.
